Classic conservatories - A classic conservatory is a great way of providing extra living space within your home. The room is commonly used for entertaining family and friends and offers a great vantage point to enjoy the view of your garden as it contains more glass than brickwork.
Orangeries - Orangeries are also perfect for generating extra living space. They tend to contain more brickwork than glass, making them more suitable as a private relaxation room. An orangery’s appearance is generally light and airy, giving it the feeling of a conservatory, but its elegance adds a touch of grandeur.
Glass Extensions - Glass roof extensions add a bold, unique visual element to your home. The glass naturally creates a bright living space and with letting an unrivalled amount of daylight into your home it can be the perfect choice.
Tiled Roof Extensions - Tiled roof extensions are designed to look and function like a permanent part of your home. They provide a solid, minimum fuss structure that offers extra space and privacy and with adding a Velux skylight they most certainly look the part.
Replacement conservatory roofs - Update the look and performance of your existing conservatory with an affordable insulated and with a choice of pvc tiled colours for your Conservatory Roof. Available in uPVC.
Planning permission is not necessary for all conservatories. Adding a conservatory can be allowed under “permitted development” rules. That said, we always recommend you check whether full planning permission is required. Not only will this give you total peace of mind, but save you a great deal of money. Failure to check could be an expensive mistake should local authorities decide a conservatory was built illegally and it would need to then be removed. The difference between a conservatory and an orangery is that an Orangery is defined as a brick structure with large windows a flat roof and a glass lantern or Velux sky lights, A conservatory is a glass structure with usually a 600mm brick base from damp and a pitched polycarbonate or glass roof with frames comprising of over 75% glass.
